Position Overview:

You will play a crucial role in supporting our clients by addressing and resolving their IT issues. This role involves planning, troubleshooting, deploying, engineering, and documenting a wide range of IT solutions. You’ll work with desktops, laptops, servers (both virtual and physical), network asset management, and more.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update firewalls, servers, and workstations.
  • Apply patches and updates to operating systems and applications.
  • Monitor and test backups.
  • Handle client-facing tickets as needed.
  • Implement and maintain network solutions, both on-premises and cloud-based.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT roles, particularly in: Computer and OS troubleshooting
  • Server maintenance and virtual server management
  • Cloud server deployment and maintenance
  • Cyber defense and network security
  • Firewall implementation and network troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in using service ticket platforms (e.g., Autotask).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a love for troubleshooting and documentation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and handle escalations.
  • Creative, solutions-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call after-hours support as part of a rotation.
  • Professional appearance and business casual attire for virtual calls.

  • Windows Server (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022)
  • Linux & VMWare Server OS
  • Firewalls (SonicWall & Cisco)
  • DNS, Domains, Workgroups, Scanners, Printers
  • VPN management
  • SQL, MySQL
  • Virtualization (VMWare & Hyper-V)
  • Cloud platforms (G Suite, MS 365, Amazon AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Backup & Recovery
  • Exchange, Domain management, Active Directory & GPOs

 

Experience Requirements:

  • Windows 10 / 11 Pro: 2 years (Required)
  • Microsoft Windows Server: 2 years (Required)
  • Linux / VMWare: 2 years (Preferred)
  • DNS, ADDS, VPN, Firewall: 2 years (Required)
  • Google Workspace, MS 365: 2 years (Required)
