A leading company in Utah that provides cloud-based tools to help businesses run more smoothly is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Billing Specialist. They specialize in customer management, data integration, and analytics to improve business operations and support growth.

The Job:

As a Senior Billing Specialist or Billing Supervisor, you will be at the forefront of managing and improving our billing processes. Your role will involve overseeing invoicing accuracy, resolving billing issues, and ensuring smooth communication between departments. You will also be responsible for managing client records, supporting collections, and preparing reconciliations.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Billing Accuracy and Issue Resolution:

  • Ensure the accuracy of all invoicing activities.

  • Prepare or oversee the preparation of customer invoices and statements.

  • Design and implement methods to resolve billing issues.

  • Resolve any billing issues that arise promptly.

2. Client and Collections Management:

  • Maintain accurate client records.

  • Create and prioritize a list of clients to be invoiced.

  • Communicate effectively with accounting, billing departments, clients, and purchasing departments.

  • Handle portal registrations and related communications.

  • Oversee billing processes related to collections.

  • Provide support for collections activities.

3. Reconciliation and Audits:

  • Assist in preparing reconciliations between Recurly and NetSuite, and Recurly and Avalara.

  • Help resolve integration issues as needed.

  • Conduct billing reviews and audits.

  • Research billing trends and develop performance measures.


Who You Are:

  • Experience: 2+ years as a billing specialist or in a similar role.

  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of Recurly, Zuora, Chargebee, Stripe Billing or similar billing subscription software.

  • Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Work Style: Proactive, with the ability to work independently, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and handle routine tasks with sustained focus and enthusiasm.

  • Collaboration: Ability to effectively collaborate with other departments.

 

Location: Remote (Must be available from 9 AM - 5 PM Mountain Time, USA)
