As a Deal Desk Operations Specialist, you will own the operational execution and system-level efficiency of Postscript’s end-to-end deal lifecycle. This role is responsible for translating deal desk policies, pricing frameworks, and approval rules into fast, reliable, and low-friction workflows across quoting, contracting, approvals, and booking.

You will partner closely with the Deal Desk Manager, Financial Analyst – Deal Desk, Sales, Finance, and Legal to reduce manual effort, eliminate rework, and shorten deal cycles. This is a builder role for someone who enjoys improving systems, automating handoffs, and designing scalable workflows that save time for Account Executives and Finance.

What You’ll Do

  • Own deal execution from quote creation through contract generation and booking, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and speed

  • Configure and manage products, pricing, approvals, quoting, and bookings within Salesforce and CPQ

  • Manage contract workflows in SpotDraft, including template usage, redlines, approvals, and escalations to Legal when required

  • Build, maintain, and optimize automated workflows using tools such as Zapier and Rattle to reduce manual steps and status chasing

  • Identify friction points in deal flow and implement process or system improvements to reduce cycle time and rework

  • Partner with the Deal Desk Manager to operationalize pricing guardrails, approval rules, and non-standard deal handling

  • Ensure clean, complete handoffs between Sales, Finance, Legal, and downstream teams

  • Maintain high data quality standards across deal records, approvals, and documentation

  • Support Sales with deal configuration and process guidance to minimize back-and-forth during negotiations

  • Document deal desk processes, workflows, and system logic to support scale, consistency, and onboarding

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in Deal Desk Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or a similar role at a high-growth technology company

  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce; CPQ experience strongly preferred

  • Experience working with contract lifecycle management tools such as SpotDraft or similar platforms

  • Demonstrated ability to build workflows and automations using tools like Zapier; experience with Slack-based tooling (e.g., Rattle) a plus

  • Process-oriented mindset with a strong bias toward automation, simplification, and continuous improvement

  • High attention to detail and strong ownership of execution quality

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and support Sales without becoming a bottleneck

  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and iterating processes as the business evolves

  • Experience with Salesforce and contract lifecycle management tools (e.g., SpotDraft) preferred
