Position Overview:
You will play a crucial role in supporting our clients by addressing and resolving their IT issues. This role involves planning, troubleshooting, deploying, engineering, and documenting a wide range of IT solutions. You’ll work with desktops, laptops, servers (both virtual and physical), network asset management, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update firewalls, servers, and workstations.
- Apply patches and updates to operating systems and applications.
- Monitor and test backups.
- Handle client-facing tickets as needed.
- Implement and maintain network solutions, both on-premises and cloud-based.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in IT roles, particularly in: Computer and OS troubleshooting
- Server maintenance and virtual server management
- Cloud server deployment and maintenance
- Cyber defense and network security
- Firewall implementation and network troubleshooting
- Proficiency in using service ticket platforms (e.g., Autotask).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a love for troubleshooting and documentation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and handle escalations.
- Creative, solutions-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.
- Willingness to participate in on-call after-hours support as part of a rotation.
- Professional appearance and business casual attire for virtual calls.
