Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Film Editor/Post-Production Manager for a remote role. We need someone who excels in visual storytelling and can elevate the work of our internal film team beyond basic editing. This is not an entry-level position; substantial professional experience as a video editor is required.
Responsibilities:
- Edit a variety of content, including TV commercials and instructional videos.
- Transform raw footage into polished, visually engaging videos.
- Ensure seamless transitions, continuity, and overall cohesion in final video products.
- Enhance video and audio quality, incorporating effects, graphics, and other creative elements.
- Collaborate with the creative team to maintain brand consistency and messaging.
- Adapt video content for different platforms, implementing format requirements for social media, websites, and other channels.
- Work closely with the Creative Director, Producer, DP, and other team members to understand project objectives and deliver creative briefs.
- Incorporate feedback effectively into video edits.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Hire and oversee freelancers as needed.
- Establish and organize a comprehensive media library, managing diverse footage.
- Conduct quality checks on all edited content to ensure alignment with project goals and company standards.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in film editing.
- A current reel showcasing technical proficiency and creative thinking. Include a brief description of your involvement in each segment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.

- Experience with color correction.

- A network of post-production freelancers.
