Mission of the Role:
As a Call Confirmer, you will play a key role in ensuring world-class service for our members and organizations booking travel accommodations through our platform. Your efforts are integral to building member loyalty and driving usage of Access discounts and websites.
Job Responsibilities:
- Contact hotels to confirm reservations made by members, ensuring the reservation is in place and prepayment has been processed.
- Verify room types, particularly for special reservations.
- If a hotel’s policy prevents reservation confirmation, create a case in Salesforce.
- If a hotel fails to show the reservation or prepayment, create a case in Salesforce.
- Identify and resolve any potential issues flagged by hotels by creating a case in Salesforce.
- Collaborate with other Call Confirmers and supervisors to ensure daily call logs are accurate and up-to-date.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle inquiries and issues effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the internet. Experience with databases and web-based CRM applications is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients/customers over the phone.
- Knowledge of loyalty programs is a plus.
