Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Staff member to support our accounting and order processing operations. This role will focus on processing orders, managing invoices, performing bookkeeping and reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data during the transition from Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) to QuickBooks Online.
The ideal candidate will have a solid accounting background, strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and hands-on experience with ERP and accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
Order Processing & Invoicing

Review and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.

Generate and issue customer invoices in a timely manner.

Coordinate with sales and operations teams to ensure accurate billing and order fulfillment.
Accounting & Bookkeeping

Record daily transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.

Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper account classification.

Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
Software Transition & Data Cleanup

Assist in migrating accounting data from Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) to QuickBooks Online.

Perform data validation and cleanup to ensure accurate historical financial records.

Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies during and after the migration.
Reconciliation & Reporting

Perform regular bank and account reconciliations.

Prepare and analyze sales and financial reports to support management decisions.

Maintain documentation and audit trails for all financial transactions.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) and QuickBooks Online.

Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and reconciliation processes.

Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with sales reporting.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with accounting system migration or data cleanup.

Background in manufacturing, distribution, or service-based environments.
