Access is seeking talented Frontend Software Engineers who are passionate about building intuitive, high-performance applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. While our primary focus is the Node/React ecosystem, we also maintain applications built with Svelte.
As a Frontend Engineer at Access, you’ll play a key role in designing, architecting, and developing scalable applications used by millions of end users. Our infrastructure is hosted on AWS, with GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, and CodeDeploy powering our CI/CD workflows. We collaborate through Slack and manage work in JIRA.

Every project starts with thorough product validation — through user testing, customer interviews, and risk assessments — to ensure we’re building the right solutions before writing a single line of code.
Responsibilities

Collaborate within small, cross-functional teams to architect, design, and deliver exceptional web applications.

Develop and maintain frontend applications using our tech stack (see below).

Partner with designers, product managers, and backend developers to translate requirements into clean, efficient, and scalable code.

Ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices.

Proactively identify, debug, and resolve software issues.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of team standards.
Qualifications

Proficiency with modern frontend technologies, including React, Redux, React Router, and SCSS.

Experience with Zustand, Express.js, Axios, and GraphQL.

Strong understanding of software testing and maintaining high code quality standards.

Familiarity with ADA compliance and web accessibility best practices.

Working knowledge of OWASP Top 10 security principles.

Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to new technologies.

Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when needed.

Experience level is flexible — we value skill, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
