Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly experienced Investment Analyst with a background in investment banking and a proven track record working with startups. You should be proficient in financial modeling, excel in investment analysis, and be capable of building high-quality presentations. In this role, you will evaluate potential investments, support our portfolio companies, and create reports and materials for investors.
Key Responsibilities:

Investment Analysis & Diligence:
- Analyze financial and operational data from early-stage tech startups, particularly B2B SaaS companies.
- Conduct thorough due diligence, evaluating market opportunities, risks, and overall viability of potential investments.
- Provide detailed investment memos with key insights and recommendations.

Financial Modeling:
- Build, test, and refine financial models for potential investments and portfolio companies.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis, scenario modeling, and valuation assessments.
- Use our diligence framework to provide key insights for strategic decisions.

Presentation & Marketing Materials:
- Craft compelling investment narratives and build investor-ready presentations, including one-pagers, slide decks, and reports.
- Assist in preparing quarterly and annual performance reports for portfolio companies.
- Ensure all presentations and documentation are polished and professional.

Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with the investment team to gather data, insights, and financials.
- Collaborate with portfolio companies to review financial reports and performance metrics.
- Ensure all written materials meet high grammatical and content standards.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an investment banking analyst, with a focus on early-stage tech companies or startups (Preferred)
- Deep expertise in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and valuation techniques.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets – advanced mastery is required.
- Proven ability to create high-impact presentations using PowerPoint or other presentation tools.
- Experience working with B2B SaaS companies or within the tech sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field. MBA or CFA is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with impeccable attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
