Senior AI Software Engineer – Agentic Frameworks & LLMs

Role Overview

As a Senior AI Software Engineer on our Application Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and building intelligent features that enhance and simplify front-end user experiences using generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and agentic frameworks.

You’ll collaborate closely with product and engineering leaders to ideate, prototype, and deliver AI-powered user experiences that elevate the value of our platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop application features that leverage LLMs to improve user interaction and automation.

  • Implement and extend agentic frameworks (Autogen strongly preferred) to orchestrate intelligent workflows.

  • Partner with product and design teams to identify and validate AI-driven use cases.

  • Build backend APIs and services in Python to integrate AI functionality into our platform.

  • Prototype, evaluate, and iterate on AI-powered features based on user feedback and performance metrics.

  • Ensure all AI components are secure, scalable, and maintainable.

  • Contribute to internal tooling and frameworks that accelerate AI/LLM adoption across teams.

  • Stay up to date with advancements in generative AI and agent-based systems, bringing innovative ideas into our product roadmap.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5+ years of professional experience building backend services with Python.

  • Hands-on experience working with LLMs and AI frameworks (such as OpenAI, LangChain, or Autogen).

  • Familiarity with AI agents and agentic orchestration patterns.

  • Experience with Django and React is highly desirable.

  • Proven ability to design, build, and deploy production-ready AI-powered features.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities.

Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Python and modern backend development frameworks.

  • Strong understanding of generative AI tools, models, and APIs.

  • Hands-on experience with Autogen or similar agentic frameworks.

  • Ability to design and deliver intuitive, AI-enhanced user experiences.

  • Strong problem-solving, experimentation, and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
